Just looks like an average condition 96 with pace car stickers on it. Worth the same as any other average condition 96 + the cost of the stickers.

that car looks horrible for having only 8,000 miles on the odometer! my 30,000+ mile car looks better than that thing!

and why someone wouldnt clean it and detail it BEFORE they take pictures of it is beyond me. :dunno:

Just a heads up, JonB sells these pace car sticker sets and has them in stock. This is a great look for a '96.

Our club president has a Pace Car, and he showed a sticker next to the license plate. It was a U.A.W. or something like that. I noticed the one on eBay was missing the decal, so it makes me think the seller just bought a reproduction kit, stuck it on the car and then added $20K to the price.

It would be nice if a '96 Viper with 8,000 miles went for $65K because it would be a huge boost to everyone else trying to sell one. Me personally, I'd rather have my Viper than $65K. I know that in the past 11 years other cars have surpassed it in performance, but I don't there's a better looking car on the planet.

As hard I hate to say this, I would not go over $37K because from a high level, this car has had a rough life that you would not expect to see on something like a 96 B/W.

Last summer I drove my GTS to the drags and got talking with a fellow the works at a Dodge dealership here. He was telling me He has a 96 Viper Indy car with less than 1000 miles at home in his garage, I think it to be true. He said he had all the original Indy 500 stickers still in the box?? I thought that was strange. Were the stickers Dealer installed? This Guy has worked there about 25 years. Said he would sell the car but it would have to be around $70K. Whoa, Good Luck!!:omg:

BTW, FlX109 . Like the sidepipes!! Looks good

No official Viper GTS Indy Cars sold to the Public like Chevy does with the Corvette. All 1996 GTS were to be delivered with the Stickers. Mine was not.

yeah, all the other ones I've seen had sunroofs :) :lmao:

FYI, the two real pace cars did have a sunroof installed. Yes, a hole cut into the roof. from what I understand it was so that the passenger could stand and wave through the roof.

not really in bad shape. He just could have done a better job picture taking.. The engine compartment was still soaking wet. Carpets need to be vacumned. Seat has a tear in it..

Overall, the expectations of a 8000 mile car. Is that it should be in BRAND NEW condition.. This depends on how the 8000 mile were accumulated.. This is a 12 year old car anyway you slice it. Its going to show SOME wear.. Even the SUPER,SUPER low ileage garage queens show wear, from storage. Getting in, and out,etc,etc..

Ah, OK... had me worried there, it doesn't look any worse than my car does on average between cleanings. Minus the seat rip of course... but man it does bug me how much getting in and out wears the seat especially the side part just above the waist.
