I had it done on my early 93 last summer. I took it to Tators, Chucks the best AKA the Wizard. I found a complete factory kit on Ebay, The are extremely rare to find. I think it cost me about $3000.00 including labor. It is now confortable to drive on those hot dsys. What # is your 93 Good luck finding the parts.

3k? wow .... thats quite a bit of cash.... almost half-way to a supercharger...

Is it worth just finding a car with a/c over one that doesn't have it?

I paid 3k to put AC in my 92 (3 years ago). I have to recharge it every year too :(

I think the cars are unbearable over 70 degrees without AC.

V10, with a stock exaust, is it really as unbarable as people say it is? you live in macon and I know it gets pretty warm there durring the summer.

Can anyone in the Chiago area chime in on this?

I like to run with the AC off during the summer as much as possible, and it is unbearably hot sometimes in the cockpit. I've come home literally dripping wet, and I have high flo insulated cats.

I live in Chicago and when you are sitting in Traffic on th edan ryan for 2 hours and the top is off even with the A/c it is ridicously hot in the cockpit. I have a 96 as well and you have the heat from the side sills pouring in, you have the heat from the center tunnel and the heat from above I have the air cranked and it is just barely bearable for more than hour stuck in traffic. It doesn't stop my from driving downtown I just need to get my shirts laudered more often hahaa
