This has been bugging me for months...
My drivers side headlight was mysteriously sitting up a 1/4 inch with a gap between the bottom of the head light and the front bumper after the dealership had the car for a month to do some work...

I told them when I hot home but they said it was too late because I had already left before spotting it..

Well after cringing every time I looked at it for the past few months and after just spending $800 bucks to fix a few wires on the nsx (yea I get screwed regurly)...

I figured why give the place that screwed it up $$$ to keep my car for a month and likely fix it but damage somthing else..

Im far from any type of mechanic and fall somwere between horrible and bad...
But heres what I did..

YouTube - adjusting srt10 viper headlight turns into 4 hour job

Hope it helps someone..i saw a post asking about how to get to the head lights to change them and figuered this would help a lil

I cant tell in the video, but you should have a stack of shims under the outer most headlamp stud (closest to the drives side of the car). This will put the headlamp in the correct position. Are the shims missing?

really.....yea their were no shims their..So i made my own LOL...Buyt I put it on the right side instead of the left farthest to the drivers side..DOH!!!!
When i was looking at it I thought it would be better for the rear left to raise a littel...

well it looks fairly good now so I will leave well enough alone for now..

Good job twister, i thought i was meticulous. I would have been pissed at the dealer thats for sure. I do everything i can in my garage, and keep the dealer as far away as possible. If you were closer, my midrise lift in my garage would of been sweet for this job. I cant tell you how handy this lift has become. Ive used those rhino ramps before and there a pita, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Ive done a lot of driveway repairs before, glad you got it right:2tu:

Thanks....Feels good...While i was down their and saw just how easy it is to get to and unbolt the fog lamps I figured my next lil project may be to unbolt both of them (dont need them here in hawaii) and put a black out or wire mesh screen....

Really seems like a good 5-6 pounds can be eliminateed and the ACR's ect dont have them anyway.....just 3 bolts holding them in so easy to put back on or off any time I want...

Always fun learning about your car
