I have my 94 Viper up for sale (sob).. The main reason for selling is the lack of air conditioning. Dodge no longer has an A/C install kit for a 94, is there anything out (aftermarket) that will work?

Have you tried JonB at PartsRack

Thanks Hissss.

When MoPar doscontinued the AC kits back in 1999, PartsRack bought the last 8 in USA. Long-ago sold. We did not have the $$ to clone the bracketry, DANG!

We can remove the bulk of an AC kit from an organ donor, and provide some used-some-new parts to build a complete kit. Some parts are NOT re-useable with great success.

Fact is, any GOOD auto-electric company in your locale could do it WITHOUT us..... Your car is plumbed for AC, and even the switch is probably hot, and just has a black DOT over the A/C snowflake!

Thanks for the response. It's interesting, I've seen so many old hot rod cars that have A/C added. I wouldn't think A/C would be a big deal to install. I have a Camry Hybrid with an A/C that runs off the battery. Like Jon B said, it already has some of the plumbing.

I put A/C on my factory no A/C 94 RT/10. Everything is bolt on and plug and play. I did the install myself in less than 1 day, if you are mechanically inclined you can do it. I bought everything for the conversion from Paul Scharf (800-338-4002) for around $1200? I believe. I don’t think the labor would cost to much to have it professionally installed if you can't do it yourself. At least call Paul and get a price for the conversion.

When I added A/C to my 94 there were no kits available, but all the parts in the kit were still individually available from the Dodge Dealer. A local A/C shop ordered all the parts from Dodge new and did the install. I think it cost something like $4,400 total, but after driving without it in Florida, it was worth it to me.
