Probably a dumb question but.. Just bought an 05 SRT a few weeks ago, average temps around here have been around 50 - 60 degrees. Yesterday it was about 85.
I could feel a big difference in the cars take off, is it normal with the air change like on a race car, or should I be checking something else out at 650 miles on the engine. Sorry if it sounds dumb, but first time for an air cooled street car for me.
Thanks

You will definitely notice a little less performance as the air warms up. Colder air is more dense and therefor more oxygen to burn. And thus more power as a result. The SRT is more noticeable as it takes virtually 100% of it's intake air from outside of the engine compartment, unlike the vast majority of cars that experience the same engine-warmed air year round. Nothing to worry about, and enjoy those cool evenings and warm roads!
