For those of you who are handy and don’t want to pay $300-400 for a new alternator, you can rebuild yours pretty easily and on the cheap

There are only a few pieces to disassemble.
Here are the part numbers for two of the main components:
REGULATOR ($30-40)

RECTIFIER ($30)

Aftermarket part #172-52020

Also, for those of us who are lazy or lack the skill. There are tons of shops that rebuild starters/alternators. It's usually super cheap relative to a new one.
