CitySnake,

The 2008 systems haven't been released yet, but we hope to have them available in the next few months.

CitySnake, PM me with your location.

Alpha85,

To be honest the systems are so very different in every way from the materials used for construction, to the actual design of the headers. They really have no similarities.

Are they CARB certified?

Do you have a dyno graph on a stock Gen 2 before and after?

Will they not throw the rear 02 sensor code?

Thanks,
Carl

Carl,

The headers are not CARB certified. But I don't know of any "full length" headers out there with the certified. We don't have any before and after dyno's on any gen2's. Not everybody wants a before and after. We have seen consistant 454-462rwhp on stock 2000-2002's with no other mods other than full exhaust and tuning.

As far as o2 sensor codes with cats, we have seen some codes get thrown, but rarely. We do have cars out there with over 1500 miles on their system with no check engine lights ever coming on.

WOW...that's a big gain. Is tuning a large part of the gain? I ask because I didn't dyno near that high on my car with another brand a few years back, during a dyno day near you. I actually dyno'd less than Kurts 2000 ACR with stock exhaust. I did show more torque in the middle but dropped about 4 RWHP by the end. I do throw the rear o2 sensor code every few days upon cold start even with fresh cats. Again, that's with another brand of headers.

The car I'm referring to is NIZ's 2000 rt-10. We did put on a vec2 and yes, tuning was a part of it. His a/f before the tune was in the 10's. All finished was around 12.7. His car didn't like being any leaner than that.

I will have another 2001 that we are tuning here shortly with an american racing system. This will be a PCM flash and no VEC all stock car. It dyno'd a little low before the exhaust. 378rwhp.

I will do a dyno before we start any tuning.
