Re the MPG thread I started last week...
Great response guys - quite some variation too. Now some of you ol boys just got no self discipline y'hear!
...the wooden spoon award was a contest between jcasparl who got 7-8mpg around town, fletcher who could only achieve a best ever of 13mpg, and hog dealer who averaged 7-8mpg! You guys are sick puppies did you know that.
After much consideration - the 2003 economy drive wooden spoon goes to Hog Dealer for reporting nothing over 8mpg!
Hog - take this pill and go see Doug Levin or Jason Heffner ASAP, other than that I fear there's no hope for you.
The Viper Greenies award for 2003 goes to Dave Adkins who managed to top 25mpg in his econoViper! For those of us outside the good ol USA - that means 29mpg in the old british imperial gallon terms... so for those smug Euro drivers out there, try getting 29mpg in your 7.3 litre Brabus V12! Well done Dave! Your prize should be a ride in Treynors car so you can learn what a Viper is SUPPOSED TO DO How about it Ben?
Now Treynor didn't reply to this thread (he read the title and ran away - but I'm sure he could ****** that wooden spoon from Hog with 1250hp to play with
Now there's a member out there who has claimed to have got 28mpg - where are you? Was that Amercian mpg? If so, what was your secret? 28mpg = 32.6mpg outside the USA! The Viper world needs you now.
oh - Onerareviper! I have no idea what would happen to economy if you pulled a few plug wires - the depths of my ignorance can only be matched my maxwedges technical knowledge
Happy Vipering guys!
