So if you wanted to drive your GT on the street, what kind of insurance would you have to get?

I would think that an stated value policy would be the only way to go.

I guess if you had the money to buy it, the insurance wouldn't be a big deal but it probably would cost a bunch to get a policy that said if some clown bashed the rear of your GT at a stop sign,
they would pay you $250k.

A repaired GT would lose so much value, I think, that the policy would have to have a lost value clause.

What does insurance cost for a high end exotic worth $250k?

I think you guy are missing the boat on this one.It was designed to bring you back to the days of the real GT40 with a modern spin. The days when you could buy it off the showroom and take it racing. I think they did a great job in producing this car .And the guy that called it "Anemic" ???????? it is faster then your Viper how can it be Anemic???? Take of your Viper goggles :)

Look, its an amazing car, we'd all like to have one. BUT, the Viper's debut launched a truly visionary car, that everyone knew about. Some of my buddies who are into cars, haven't even heard of the GT. My point is this, the Viper was perfect at that time, even now. Its Cobra blood line is historic and cosmetic, but beautifully intertwined. The GT is great-looking and modern, but also oddly looks very much like the original. Then there are details, like the name Viper, its essence lurks in our hearts...
