Well, here is another fun night out....! Hope you enjoy it. Closed test track of course w/ track officials cruising the track , etc making sure everyone abides by the rules :)

Paced him for a little, then I cut the video off to save room. Hit the light red and I cut video again while waiting at red light (about 2 minutes). While stopped he asks to race and revs his engine twice, real hard. Bike had a pipe on it, exhaust.. Looked really nice btw. I think it was a brand new model as it had the black powder coated frame and not plain aluminum.. I did read Suzuki GSXR-xxxxxxx, but couldn't read the rest on the seat fairing...? He was a smaller guy so he had some nice weight/power ratio... He leans forward, keeping the front end down, really hitting it hard... Now if I could only keep traction.. After the 1st race, he doesn't make his turn and as we stop at another light, he flips his visor up and asks if we could go again! yeahhhhh.... This time I had a better launch and feathered the throttle a little better.... Pardon my friends "****" statement... I told him not to use that dumb phrase again..

That was pretty impressive. I have never seen a street car reel in a bike and blow by. That car has some killer power.

I love your videos Gerald! :D

Nice props on the trackside too! Looked like a busy pit area that night ;)

That bike rider must have been thinking "what the *$#@!!" when you pulled past him! Bikers just are not used to that - poor guy - you pulled him in and passed him twice - you've probably broken his little spirit now, and he's lying at home all beaten, confused, and sad.... :D

Keep em coming, Gerald. They give me something to look forward to.
And just think, they are kind of a documentary of your conquests and anything
else that might happen to you. Now if you could just install another camera
so we could get a view of their face.

Very nice. Your car sounds great. I'll try to have some similar video in a few weeks.

Happy motoring,
Ben

Nice!

I have no clue what your car is capable of - what kind of numbers are you putting down (dyno or quarter mile) for reference to my slowly beast? :)

my tires on my car are ice. I mean I'm down to nothing but rubber, no tread left.I'm holding off getting new Pilots cuz I'm working out a deal on some Purner wheels and street slicks..

What code is that? Rear 02's shorted... I have no cats and I drove it in the rain that day and water splashed up on my rear 02's... all is fine now.

Actually I don't know. I've never tracked it and don't plan on it. I just enjoy hitting it from time to time on the street when alls clear... One of these days I'll hit the track, but my E.T. will suffer as there is nothing on the car that is prepped for the track. Brakes, driveline, wheels , tires, shocks, suspension, etc are ALL basically, if not entirely, stock. I feel if I went to the track , honestly, I would be 'bit' by the bug and blow another 10k on the above.... !!

The last Dyno yealded 750 RWHP. I think it's closer to around 780+/- now. There were a few things at the dyno that didnt' help the numbers . It was driven in HOT FL. heat to the dyno for 1 hour. It didnt' cool down and there was also no fan in front of the car simulating driving conditions for the intercooler / cool air.. And the dyno indicated for some reason that the shop let off the gas at about 5,600 RPM or so with the graph still rising SHARPLY... I've also upgraded the fuel system one time when I sent it back to Doug asking for a minimal upgrade. I'm just waiting for time now to get a full Level III

Thanks for asking..

Gerald

One more thing , sorry. For some reason, a few people on AOL can't see the video.. I have no idea why.. ? It was made in Windows 2000 and I used Windows Movie Maker to import it and it saved it as a .wmv file..

David, perhaps you could get on www.downloads.com and get a file conversion tool? In the search field on that site type in movie file conversion or something of that sort. Maybe you have to convert it into a mpeg?

That is flat out awesome Gerald.

Have to figure your passenger was worth a car by the top of third as well, factor that in.

2nd run was great, reeled him in real quick once you hooked.

I nominate a "Gerald Kumho Fund", not that you need the cash, my 20 bucks is in for video value alone.

Get 15 more guys in and pop them Kumhos on the back until you square away with the purner deal. I put them on my not worthy near stock GTS and they hook nice. Full throttle rollons with a stab and not even a chirp. Of course 420 at the tires is small potatoes, I know.......

take care, I'm REAL glad you picked up the camera!hahaha
