Another performance brake pad question

I like to drive on track with my 2006 Coupe. It is a stock Viper. I do about 7 track days per year (20 hours track time per year). My driving style is not at all agressive, though when I am not too tired I push hard my Viper.

So far the stock Brembo pad were very good, lasted long and were not too dirty.
This year I have tried the Hawk HP plus pads because of their attractive price. They are dirty, their braking power is just as the Brembo ones and only lasted 2 track days ... In addition at the last track day, they glazed my rotors and they are no longer effective. So I can't recommand Hawk HP plus for Vipers.

Brakeman #3 pads seem to be the primary choice for leasure time track guys. However they are pricy.

Worth they the extrat $$$ ? (BM #3)

I like/use the Carbotech pads because of their aggressive bite, but they are not for everyone. They last great and don't fade, XP8 front XP8 rear, they do squeal alot so not the best street pads. Others like the Mintex pads because of the progressive bite. Carbotechs are reasonably priced and they do make a street able pad, that has less dust and last even longer.

I also use Carbotech, but we tend to drive our cars fairly hard. I currently use XP16s in the front and XP8 or 10s in the rear.

Wear is very good with Carbotechs.

I've been using Raybestos racing pads from Porterfield. The suckers last forever, aren't too noisy, and are real dusty. Expensive though, but given how long they've lasted, worth it.

I think I will give a try to the XP6.

The Hawk HP Plus was designed to run up to 800F. Obviously I am beyond this temperature ...

I love and use Brakeman. Very popular with many repeat users. And the OE pads are decent cost per mile. SEE OUR 50% OFF OE PADS AD IN VENDOR SECTION?

The HawkHP+ is too tame for you, harder on rotors, and your temp range needs higher

I upgraded my '08 to Stoptech rotors, Brakeman #3 pads and S.S. lines
(all from JonB who is very helpful and knowledgable) and the difference over stock on the track is remarkable and worth the extra
bucks...then back to EBC reds for the street since they are less $$ and are much cleaner (little brake dust) which makes wheel cleaning easier. Call JonB for all your needs and ask for his suggestions!!

Brakeman #3's all around
I don't change them out.
Ocassionally they will squeel on the streets but a few hard stops takes care of that

Mintex race pads up front, Brakeman 3 or equivalent at the rear.

These modulate well, stop well and last well.

You can run them on the street but they are dusty.
