thinking about trading my rt/10 in for a 2005 srt/10. if i sold it privately what could i roughly get for it.

2001 rt/10

47k miles (forged pistons added @ 38K miles)

roe SC with 10lbs w/ water/****

jesel rockers,

B&B headers and 3" cat back with random tech metal substrates cats

roe ported cylinder heads

unitrax HD(800hp)shafts

venzano seats

19" HRE wheels with pretty much new rubber.

fresh paint on bumper and side sills.

is $60k too high for all this?

i invested over $25k in parts not incl labor.

I think 55-60 is a good price. But... to be fair, you've posted lot of problems you've been having lately with the SC, timing and such. If I was a potential buyer, I would want to know if these problems have been resolved and if you would personally guarantee the vehicle for an agreed stretch of time.

The issues seem to me like just growing pains of some awesome mods that needs to be tuned in, but I wouldn't want to be the guy that buys into the pain.

Hope you don't take offense.

i agree warfang. the tuning issues have been solved with the help of sean roe and chuck tator.

my other option was to sell the wheels and S/C separate and sell the car with everything else for $45K.

Ask $60k, take $55k if someone offers it. I wouldnt give anyone a warranty on the car, but let them contact Chuck and Sean if they wish so they can feel better knowing 2 of the best Viper techs say its problems are cured
