Re: Any super low mileage 96 GTS\'s for sale ?
Just my opinion.....over the years I may have overpaid a couple grand here and there on a car, but only when it was a low mile, PERFECT condition car. And I never have regretted doing that. Somehow lady luck has been watching over me as I have never had a bad experience with the 30 or so used cars I’ve owned. To me, I did not care about bragging rights that I got 'the best deal'.....I just wanted the best quality car….so just go out and buy the best car you car afford, in the best condition, and if you can, don't worry about $3000 or $4000 when it comes to a $60,000 car. These are great toys that we big kids can play with everyday...not real investments 'cept for a few special cars.
Myself ? I just bought a 2002 GTS with 800 miles and extended service contract (I may return the contract, dunno just yet), anyway for a pinch over $60,000. Yes, that is more than I wanted to spend….but the car IS perfect in every way.
And yes I could still be looking for that $55,000 deal.....but quality and timing was more of what I was after (with price within reason...be real here) BUT rather than keep looking, I am going out to my driveway and start her up and go for a spin....right now !
Good luck in your search....looking is only part of the fun ! The drive is when the fun really begins !!!
Again, just my personal experience I thought I would share with you...to encourage you to find that special car and start enjoying it sooner rather than later !. BTW, that listing posted above certainly looks like the car you are after...
From the looks of your signature....I'll bet you'll have that special buggy before Christmas.
