I'm looking for some info on how people ran their intercooler piping on a TT car. Looking to put a front mount on my car and would rather see how others have done it than reinvent the wheel.

Mainly interested in routing of charge piping to the front bumper, relocation of any lines/coolers, and where the mounts were put for the intercooler/other accessories. Is the cooling fan retained or changed over, is the A/C retained, etc etc. How about trimming the bumper, removing brake ducts.

Case of beer to those who help out, it'll make my life that much easier. I can't seem to find any build pics from people who have done this, but then I assume a lot of folks had shops build the cars.

Check out my thread on my TT build. There is a pic of the system mounted to an engine outside the car. As far as trimming the bumper, I would assume it depends on the size and thickness of your intercooler. My intercooler was 5 inches thick so some trimming was involved.

Thanks Aries, I've seen your thread and have that picture as a reference. I'm going to attempt the same routing, but really would benefit from seeing which hoses were rerouted or pushed out of the way to make such a move happen. I'd really like to check your car out at some point, being only a hop skip and a jump away.

Thanks again!
