Anybody want a Belanger cat back, cheap !

Bought a complete Belanger exhaust system, headers & cat back, from Jason at Heffner Performance that he took off a customers car. I just needed the the headers so the cat back is for sale for $500.00. It has some fine scratches in the tips. I can e mail you photos of the system if your interested. I will pay shipping to 48 states also ! I just want this out of my garage soon!!

Hey Bo if this system fits on a 2000 GTS then Ill take it. I like loud exhausts and I think this one is pretty loud. I just bought a muffler delete also im gonna compare the 2 and keep one. Please give me your paypal or address.

Martin, Belanger exhaust are usually a 3" aluminized steel exhaust. Most others are stainless steel. Pro's and cons to both types. The Belanger is a complete catback system, it will replace more of your current exhaust than a muffler delete. The mufflers in your side sill will be replaced unlike the muffler delete that just deals with the two stock mufflers in the rear.
The Belanger exhaust sounds good to me, and will be louder than the muffler delete.

you cant compare the two, martin. the delete as simms says is totally different. if you like it loud take off the factory exhaust and put, a borla. understand there is an old and new borla. i bought mine 3 years ago so i guess its the older more desirable one. LOUDER TOO!!!! take out those pesky cats like me and now were talking LOUD and mean, the cam stutter is so pronounced and the car has the 97 shakes the creampuff were spared. for me it sounds like it should. the rear deletes ONLY benefit is the price is usually the price. wont be as loud, not nearly as much hp increase, general sound quality isnt there either. you have to really go cat-back to alter the note these cars produce. the cat delte just takes the sound stock and amplifies it some. hope this helps. josh

I also have a used Belanger Cat Back that I will sell. It comes with (4) mufflers and has ran 9 Second Quarter Mile times in my own Viper. I have bought a new Belanger system and have no need for it. The cat back is in good condition and works great! I have not advertised it yet..this is the first. I will let it go for $ 400.00 + shipping. (expect about 55.00 shipping UPS Ground anywhere in the US) This cat back fits all Gen II Vipers.
