... not, mind you, that I would dream about doing something like that to my wife's car :D but I'm curious to hear what sort of gains people have seen. I have one set of figures (for heads + cam + full headers/exhaust) and am looking for more.

Do to the fact that my car was still shy on HP after the valve job, I decided to take care of the whole issue myself by letting Heffner Performance do a full engine makeover. He is also looking at beefing up the differential as I and others have blown them with very little effort. The diff problem and its aftershock worked its way through the pinion, driveshaft and all the way back to the transmission. Now that that is all replaced hoping all will be well with the car. (forgot having problems with the lights - only working sometimes and then they are usually flashing on and off). Hoping to have all the mods done in 2 weeks. So far Jason has been great to do business with, looking forward to see his handy work.

Hi Ken - can't wait to hear the good news when your car gets back from Jason!

Homesite - if you do a search on this forum you'll see a handful of SRT10's had a diff problem - it shouldn't be generic or none of them could stand a drag race - something the earlier models took in their stride. The diffs that gave problems were not abused by a 5000rpm clutch dump (which still should not break them anyway - more likely to break an axle from axle ***** doing that) - but broke from a more modest take off - something the car should easily handle.... such as clutching it up on the move - a routine move in any performance car when you want to get on the power band straight away or put on a show... :) The fact the diffs have all to my knowledge been covered by warranty is proof that those cars were faulty. If you've given yours some hard take offs and had no problems - you'll probably be absolutely fine!

Ben, I know that RSI just finished up a heads cam SRT, it made 593 RWHP SAE. They are also finishing up several stroker motors. They should get them to the track soon.

That's a big power gain from bolt ons - wonder if the rpm range has changed a lot to achieve that - be great to see a dyno graph.
