A stock Syclone would give a well driven GENII fits out of the hole, I'd say a good squirt ahead for first 60-100 feet and then the GENII would blow on by at my guess of around 60mph. (ballpark 0-60 of 4.9 GENII to GMC time of 5.3ish) Lethal 60 footer's at the track though, snoozy or smoke-show Vipers would be playing catch up, just a matter of how long........

that's my story and I'm sticking to it, your mileage may vary, always wear a helmet.

I have owned 4 Syclones. I have one left. It ran a 13.5 at 98 mph. They are super fast out of the hole and will pull a short time of 1.7 seconds. After that, it is all Viper. Now, if you don't get a good launch and the streets are slick, you better watch out. You may get surprised. To ensure the win for your Viper, make sure you race to the 1/4 mile.

Congrats on your purchase. They are one awesome vehicle. I modded one of mine to run in the 11s. It was a blast.

Here's my sole survivor.

Agree with Norman. Bought mine new in 91. With an assortment of Kenne Bell bolt-ons, it was a high 12 sec truck. A perfect sleeper. Not many people knew what it was.
