Anyone familiar with a sapphire/silver stripe GTS with 105 miles on it for sale

Saw an ad on the internet with a 2001 Sapphire/silver stripe GTS with a total of 105 miles on it. No pictures however. I e-mailed the seller and he said all it needed was a battery. I asked for pics but
didn't get any. Looks like the car and/or the seller is in Ohio. Anyone in that area familiar with this car?

I remember seeing this car in Carlisle almost 10 years ago. Owner trailered it there. If memory serves me, he had bought two of them, one to drive and one to keep as museum piece. I also think he may have been the OH Region President back then.

I believe you are correct, he is/was the Ohio region president. Should be getting some pics of the car soon. So, what would you guys pay for a car like this?

MSRP is ~86K. For a 105 mile beauty in 2014...I imagine in the +$60k range...maybe even more all things considered. One can never tell. It just depends on so many intangible things with these cars/owners/sellers. I do not think you should believe it will be in the $50's. If it is, I'd grab it.

Yes definitely in the 60's if it is clean. Low miles does not always guarantee a pristine car, they can get beat up sitting in a garage. I would love to have a spare Sapphire/Silver GTS. I also thought mine was one of the lowest miles Sapphire/Silver known to exist at approx 3000 miles, apparently not.

2006 VOI 9 Car - Offered 45K
2005 FGT - Offered 175K selling for almost 3 times worth.
1998 GTSR Offered 80K

All cars are professionally maintained, mileage is under 10 miles on 1, Under 1K miles on 1, 2K miles on 1.

I don't think you will get your 60's asking price.

Frank is correct, maybe upper 40's on its best day.
It's still an antiquated (by todays standards) 13 year old car with very limited appeal.
As soon as you put some miles on it, its a 35K car.

I had asked the seller for pictures twice, it was like pulling teeth and I still didn't get any so I gave up. I mentioned that nobody is gonna drop the $75K asking price without pictures.
I also had concerned about the 13 year old tires, fluids that have been in the car for 13 years, etc.

The seller didn't seem real motivated to sell the car.

Thats the point. There aren't any. I'm sure that these offers were either from "Flippers" or "Dealers".
I remember 1 dealer that wanted a few of my cars real bad....Offered Squat to they could sell them for
lots more..

I will buy it tomorrow for 45.

It is also the same technology as a FGT, it has ABS. It is not like we are talking about a Gen I or pre 993 Porsche.
