I bought an 08 FE Cahllenger last night. I grabbed a 09 brochure while leaving the dealer and don't see a 6.5 listed as an option

The dealer is wrong (for a change ) about the engine.

It would be a 6.4 if anything. Mopar makes a 6.4 (392 CI)crate hemi that is in the same line as the new Hemis.
I have heard rumors of them puting this engine in the 2010 models, but cat find much to back it up.
"A 6.4 liter version, with an estimated 500 or more hp, is still expected to be offered in a future model of the Challenger, possibly debuting in the 2010 model year."

Only the 6.1 Hemi is available for 09.

I know its going to wear off as more and more of these things become seen in public, but I can tell you around here I get as many looks in my 08 Challenger as I do when driving my Viper. It surprised me. They really did do a good job of styling this car.

My local dealer has taken 3 orders for 09s,, he sold his 08 at msrp and same for 09s
