The following is from the SCCA In Sac. CA., this is a great event. Last year we had SCCA members from the East coast make the trip for a few seconds (60 +/- seconds typical) of fun.

"The Corvette Owners Club of Sacramento is hosting the renown American Muscle Car Team Challenge Autorcoss Event at Mc Clellan Air Park on October 19th & 20th, 2002. The maximum number entries is 80 drivers.
The entry fee is $95.00. This event will consist of 3 practice runs and 4 official timed runs on each day. A T-Shirt and a Saturday sit-down dinner is included in the entry fee. The final results will be based on the best run from the official times of each day, combined together as a team and compared to the total times of all the teams. Trophies will be awarded to each member of the winning and placing teams.
The maximum of number of drivers per car is two, and each driver will be on different teams. The teams will be selected by the committee from a random drawing. The selection of each team will not have more than one national champion level type driver and one beginning level driver.
Each car will be paxed according to the vehicle preparation, based on the SCCA rules as possible. The ladies will have a separate Pax factor than their respective open class. The vehicle entries running on true Street Tires with a Tire Wear Rating of 120 or greater, will be paxed with a special street tire paxed.
Hotel/Lodging is across from the Event site. The special room rates for the Lions Gate Hotel is:
Single/Double - $74.00/night
Suites - $109.00/night
Cottege Suites - $159.00/night
These rates are special. You will need to mention the keyword:

If you have sent me an e-mail and received a response back from
indicating that I put you on a list, you will receive an entry form via e-mail. Previous entrants will ahve first preference and the entry is due by September 1, 2002. IF this event is your first time entering, than your entry is due by September 15, 2002. We will enforce the max. cap rule of 80 drivers and entries will be selected by the earliest postmark.
All entries must be accompanied with payment (Check or Money Order)
including the extra dinner ticket cost. The extra dinner tickets are
$20.00 each.
