Very good stuff......Just remember VERY IMPORTANT it has no antifreeze protection whatsoever.so it must be removed in the winter, but i promise you it will keep you away from the red

The stuff was actually originally produced for the Navy Seals' high performance boats in tropical waters where cooling is an issue.

My dad and uncle put it in two 69 Roadrunners and it dropped the temp, no puking in Michigan summers. I never tried it in my Viper because I haven't needed to but I will when I go to a track event.

This stuff has fact to back it up. It doesn't contain ethelyne glycol (sorry for bad spelling) who has 50% less cooling capabilities as water. It uses different additives for corrosion protection. Only logical that it will run cooler.

No freeze protection, so must change in fall if you are in cold climates.

I'll likely be giving Zerex Racing Super Coolant a try then, since I live in the desert, and it reaches 120 here in the summer.

Thanks, 99t1, for brining this to the attention of the VCA.

This test result (MIDWAYDOWN) would imply water wetter with water provided over 25% cooling improvement over the glycol/water combination as claimed by the valvoline product.

Watter wetter has been around a long long time. and I have 3 bottles left so I think it will be as good (if not 3 % better between these two links report)

Waterwetter has been around and proven both on and off the track to be a great product,we use it more than the race zerex, but Jeff in your case that yours is strictly a track car you should give it a try,you will definetly see the difference. And no points!

Regarding Water Wetter, it's odd to see the web site claim of corrosion protection.

As I remember a fellow Viper owner in a warm clime posted about a year ago that he used 100% distilled water with Water Wetter and quickly had extensive corrosion to the point where reusing the block was in question.

Considring his experience, I'd be careful about relying on Water Wetter's corrosion protection exclusively.
