are power steering pulleys on a gen 1 and gen 2 on a the same size and dimension

i know the gen 1 pulley is steel and a gen 2 is plastic. my 96 rt/10 gen 1.5 is a plastic pulley and needs replaced. so the pulley is plastic like a gen 2 but the engine is a gen 1. what i am wondering is if the replacement billet pulley that fits on gen 2's will work on mine? i don't want to put a plastic one back on and have the same problem. again. if not will the gen 1 steel pulley work? i would love to hear from some gen 1.5 owners that may have had this problem.

For your 96 R/T 10 (some call it a Gen 1.5)...you NEED the Gen II kit. See my post:

p.s. the only difference between the gen 1 and 2 bracket is shims incase anyone is wondering.
