Are T&D\'s and Mopar roller rockers the same?

Mopar # P5007049 and T&D's. Are these the same. Does one manufacture for the other?

Does anyone use the Mopars? I assume the same issues apply as far as pushrod length is concerned.

I put the 1.7 T&D's in last month on my 2002 , it comes with a measuring tool
and 2 sizes of washers for adjustment . I was able to install them without use of the washers and also used the stock pushrods . I also installed the ones that have needle bearing on the roller tip as an option. about $200 extra.
I believe i spoke to sheldon at T&D , he said the adjustment end is preset a certain number of turns and although about one turn is recomended for contact
with the push rod a half more or so wont hurt as long as the oil hole is not blocked . After the install , i cranked the car over with the plug wires off
until oil flowed off the roller tip of each one . Installed the covers started the car and has been quiet ever since it started.

Needle bearing roller tip should be standard ???? Anybody else heard of it being an option ?

You were lucky maybe, the measuring tool doesn't work with the Viper. You have to manually find the geometric center by trying the different washers, that, establishes the correct length push rod. The stock rods do not always work. If the stock rods end up being to short and you turn down the adjusting nut over 2.5 to 3 turns that is where you can shut off the oil.

Actually the tool will work on the Viper but only with the cyl.head and valve springs removed,as that is how they recomend the install
