Are There Any NY/CT Members Feeling Distress Out There???

[V 10 MAFIA]

Recently a few previous members (who's membership has been revoked for numerous reasons including among other things: undermining club funtions, creating events in direct conflict of club interests, making false claims and accusations, exploitation via threatend business boycotts, etc.) have begun a campaign claiming that our NY/CT Chapter is in serious Distress. As the secretary of the club and on behalf of the other officers and directors of the NY/CT chapter, we have yet to hear of any of our members complaining about our performance. I implore all NY/CT members and other state VCA Chapter Members familiar with us and out on club's activities to post your opinions and comments as to how we are doing. Up to this point, all the complaints have been from from NON VCA MEMBERS calling in to the Officers of National VCA Headquarters about our horrific performance. Please don't hesitate to state any positive or negative comments about our region's performance, as we are very interested in your comments.

Really? I though NY/CT was the most happening chapter out there. With regular runs. steak dinners and strip joints (ok, we still have to get that one going), there is always something doing in the city that never sleeps. everytime i get on this board i see more things about ny/ct than any other club, nothing against other regions.. it's just that we(ny/ct) are just out to have fun and enjoy. in the last year or so i have met and enjoyed functions with guys i had never met. THE ONLY DISTRESS I HAVE IS THAT IT SEEMS LIKE CERTAIN PEOPLE WANT SEPERATION IN THE CLUB. i really don't have the time or energy to waste. as most know i'm swamped at the shop so if i have a free moment i would rather spend it in a positive way. if the majority is happy then what is wrong.......

ummm seriously those boys need to back the f**k up. those b*st*rds need to sit back, relax and lets US have a good time with our cars. cant take a joke? F**k u! wanna hang with the big boys? F**k u! VCA wanna boot me? F**k that 2!!. i just about had it with this crap! its a freakin car club who gives a sh*t.

Scott and all those involved busted there b*llz to make this happen and without them there is NOOO NY/CT chapter guranteed. we have huge turnouts, great groups of people, and excellent events even if its a run out to Captree.
this chapter just rocks hands down. there is not one single member, i said member that has anything bad to say about another member. we all have a good time. yea we brag, we make fun, we tease but its all harmeless. we are just big kids with big toys. there is a time and place for everything and when its time and go back to our families we can be mature and gentlemen.

this chapter is one big family. not friends, family. we all have the same passion for the same thing and this huge bond over these short years has overcome us. we stick together, we drive together.

yes a lot of distess here......but its NOT because of the NY/CT VCA.

i find it hard to believe ANYONE in this club has distress over anything that this club is doing or has done lately. just look at the threads and posts we have on EVERYTHING we do...its insane the fun we are having.

i just wanna drive my viper, hang with my friends, eat a burger and drive home as fast as humanly possible.

You know guys I can't take this no more and if this keep up on guys trying to undermind Scott's leadership I am going to let A CAT OUT OF THE BAG and it will be posted and it want be SLANDER because I have a witness. Then people are going to see things alot different on what I know. Remember all I've been VICE-PRESIDENT under BOTH LEADERSHIP I know alot. Scott if this keeps up I will let NATIONAL and THE VIPER WORLD KNOW WHAT I KNOW AND THAT'S A PROMISE. Scott we NY/CT CLUB is ONE and we are the guys who's trying to put great events on for the MEMBERS not our EGOS. Scott if this keeps up THE CAT WILL BE OUT OF THE BAG and that's a PROMISE. Kick them out of events where they cause trouble. Afterall, we have Adrian. Now would you want to mess with Adrian? Didn't think so.

Creating events in direct conflict of club interests

There is a thread on the NY/CT board that has the dates of upcomming events. As long as that is up to date there should be no problem creating events. If people do this on purpose, then just delete their thread.

I'll preface my post by disclosing that I'm not yet a VCA member. However, prior to aquiring my Viper in May of last year, I regularly followed the "events and gatherings" section of this site. It was pretty evident that the NY/CT chapter was the place to be in this area (I'm from Morristown, NJ - Northern NJ) I've since attended a couple of events: Tator's tech session and the Jimminy (sp) Peak run. Had a blast. Very cool people. Zero attitude. No problem here. Yup, I know what I'll be doing this year - I'LL BE RUNNING WITH THE BIG DOGS...woot woot

No distress. There are always a few malcontents in any large group it's human nature. The NY VCA has never been run better or had better leadership. When I bought my car I didn't know the first thing about the VCA or the NY club but I met Charlie down at Captree and he was such a friendly nice guy that I joined up right away. Everyone from Scott, Adrian, Chuck and Charlie on down have been just great guys and a pleasure to know. Ignore the haters.

Distress???

I have driven from PENNSYLVANIA to NY club events multiple times every year. I see an ACTIVE and TIGHT BOUND club, with many many great members. After moving from Dallas club to PA, I thought never to see such an active club. I just may have been wrong.

I will keep driving from PA to NY. Its only a 400 mile trip anyway.

Scott, Adrian and all others in the club, you have my full and UNCONDITIONAL support!
