I've seen a number of posts about the perceived lack of attention that the new Viper gets. To test it out, I took the car to two parking lots, parked it in an open area and watched from a distance. Almost every car slowed down to take a look, a dozen or so circled the car and a few got out to look. A couple waited for me to return to talk about it. The onlookers were a wider audience than I would say stares at my GTS. Definitely more women and a wider age group of admirers. No A.D.D. here.

Better to say a chick magnet than a chick car. I noticed it too. Middle aged women almost driving off the road for a look. Can't be me (I hope) so it must be the car.

I have also noticed fewer cars come up and want to test the car. I think the word is out the Mustangs and Vettes won't keep up without major changes. Thank goodness, as until I had the valves replaced I was too embarassed to give anyone a run.

I have a lot of people that pull in to my shop parking lot to look at the SRT. Some get out and some just sit in there car's and look. It is a real eye catcher

The trick would be to park both the SRT-10 and the GTS in a busy parking lot set apart by a good distance and watch them both.

I think that the SRT-10 Viper by itself is a nice design that is more conservative, but still powerful looking. But the earlier Viper is a more artistic, wilder design, that will get people who think that it's too over-the-top, and others who think it's the greatest thing ever.

The only ADD assoc. w/ the SRT-10 is w/ the knuckleheads at the factory that couldn't tell a good valve from a defective one. The difference was clearly visible.

We can't see the pic if it's still on your D: drive. IOW, your link is bad because you haven't uploaded the photo to a host.

WOW! I want to know more about this upcoming paint job with the flames. That and the fuzzy 8-balls hanging from the mirror... ;)

Hey, neat idea. Do the scales go all the way across or just on the end? The scales go great with the silver paint.

I like the originality, I like the idea, and I like the way it looks! I don't like not seeing it on the road ;) Enjoy the drive and the stares.
