I do not know about autoform hardtops. But I got a hardtop from Vipermania (Double bubble) for my 92 RT10. I like it, like it, like it!!

about $2500.00 new.

Yep, I agree...when I was looking for a hardtop for my 94, after asking many questions, the VMania seemed to be the best top for me! It is great...at least consider it - I love it!!!

Don't buy the Autoform hardtop. Worst $4k I ever spent. Sure it looks good, but the fit is terrible. Rattles, squeaks, leaks. I spent TONS of time working on it, adjusting, adding padding etc and it was NEVER right. Get something else.

***? Oh, you're probably right. I only thought I spent numerous weekends trying to get the 1" gap at the right rear to match the no-gap paint-rubbing fit at the left rear. I should have actually tried to ADJUST it. Having forgotten that my viper was a POS US car I neglected to do that. I've now changed my mind ... it was a GREAT top, I want it back. Sheesh.

I have the Autoform hardtop and windows. Next to the 5 point harness it has been the best viper upgrade i have done.
The top is awesome, fit and finish is perfect.
The windows did take a fair amount of work to get them to fit properly and stop the leaking. I am now pretty darn water proof up to 80 mph. Which is pretty good since I loose traction anywhere from 50 mph on in the rain.

Sent me an email if you have any questions.

Go for the autoform, the looks, finish are incredible. It makes your RT look like GTS in front and not Viper with a top hat on and top heavy look. They fit fine, don't worry about "Serious Eric" (

A simple fix for the rear not fitting is cutting out some padding and attaching it to underside of hardtop for a PERFECT fit..

Sure ... ignore "Serious Eric". He's just in a foul mood cuz his car got totalled. Besides everyone knows he makes his $$ pimping MOPAR tops. Yeah.

Been there, padded that, didn't work. If your Autoform top fits it's because you lucked out with an RT whose sport-bar is perfectly aligned with the windshield frame. This is not always the case. They can be out of alignment by as much as 1" from the factory, and if you're like me and got one of those then you're screwed. The Autoform top is NOT adjustable in this dimension! If yours worked then fine, pat yourself on the back and just keep saying, "I did a marvelous job of adjusting mine". What I'm trying to get across is that other models of tops are way more forgiving on fit than the Autoform and while not as cool looking they are more likely to 'work'. Your money ... roll them bones.

I have the Autoform hardtop, looks great, doesn't leak or rattle! If I did it again would I go with Autoform. But, as with all parts to US cars, you need to adjust it before it fit properly...
