I recently installed a Ripper in my Viper, for those of you into numbers......

Stock Shifter Throw.......4.75"
Ripper Shifter Throw......3.00"

About 37% less travel.

Toughest part of the install was removing the trim panels, mostly because I was afraid of cracking/scratching them. Once the trim panels were removed the job was straight forward and rather easy.

Interested to get your opinion of the shortened throw shifter. I found that the reduced fore and aft movement was good but the reduced side to side movement made it too easy to slot the wrong gear, usually at the worst times. I'm now back to the standard shifter and feel happier with it.

How do you like the feel over the stock shifter? Was it a more positive feel?
