Back from dead and have a gen 3 ques.

Hello, I used to frequent this board a lot when I had a 00 Steel Gray GTS. I sold it about 3 years ago bc the A/C could not keep up with the florida heat and the cabin heat soak. I was wondering if they upgraded the a/c to blow colder or fix the heat soak issues or lower engine temps to keep me cooler? thanx in advance

Remove the cats--sure helped mine to stay cooler. The lower door hinge would get so hot I couldn't touch it. Oh, and that goofy rear crossover crap, but save the parts for the next owner.

Mine handles the Texas sun wonderfully...but I have high flow cats.

High-flow Cats and aftermarket Exh. and your heat issues go away...

Supposedly they fixed much of the cabin heat in the gen 4 because they got rid of the crossover pipe. So deleting it from the gen 3 should do the same.

The Gen III are much better but the Florida heat still challenges the a/c.
