I was reading Highlands magazine(don't ask me why) today at the local gym and they had a great article on the CEO of Barret Jackson, Craig Jackson. It was a pretty good article and they got into asking him questions about todays classics. He started talking about 60's camaros, cudas and so forth. He said out of todays cars that Dodge Vipers and Ferraris were the two cars that he thought would appreciate over a long term. I not sure if any of you care what he said but its just another reason why I want to hold onto mine and not sell. Tempted but glad I didn't. I just thought it was cool. ;)

It's one of the reasons I bought mine and kept all of the original parts.

I agree with Barrett Jackson. Chrysler and Dodge did not really make a lot of Belly Button cars (every body has one). Just look at the value of the 70 and 71 Cuda's. I think the Viper being such a great high preformance automobile not made in great quantities like Corvette's will appreciate over the long term. While everybody has their favorites as far as equipment and mods factory original does seem to be of a value in making many cars more valuable over the long term.
