Probably would get more if it did not have those flames on it. But it does look a little better than the viper with the dolphin hood.:D

Explaining Viper things to you
I wish him well, but I sure hope he has a reserve on it. I don't see him getting more than $50K for it.

BJ never has a reserve. And with as little reception as Vipers have had at the BJ, I would be a little uneasy selling a full custom one there. The turbos... a plus. The paint and wing... a minus.

I like the flames if the wing was gone and no stripes. The Flames stand alone on this car.

Actually got 55K......But still Viper's do not do well at Barrett Jackson....Could have done better selling it himself......:2tu:

The seller walked with $46k net (50-8%) PLUS deduct entry fees, shipping,etc.. So figure about $43-44k range. Ouch is right..

Could have went stronger on Ebay..

I was at the auction today, and saw a GTSR go for $89k.. The fiasco of 05-06 of people with money to pizz away, seems to be over...

I did see some VERY good buys there, from the GM heritage collection. Cars with serious collector value in the future.

By the way the cars sold today it would indicate the economy is still not levelling off. It was nice to see the Hurst Viper go for $250,000.00 at Scottsdale. It does show that even in our depressed economy some guys still appreciate quality and uniqueness.

Fifty Thousand for a TT. Sounds like a good deal for the buyer. I did't care for the flames, wing, and front facia BUT 50K......that's cheap. TT Installation is what 25-30K installed and tuned?

If I'm not mistaken wasn't the Hurst Viper sold for charity at 250K?

BJ migth got $54K? Official sale price is + 8% of the $50K selling price. seller got 8% less than $50. $46K net = a big lost for seller!!!!

Bottom line is you modify a Viper you better love it because you won't get any of it back.

Actually a woman has the BJ Hurst Viper Coupe. She loved it so much that when she heard there would be a Vert to match she bought that one too :omg:

Her Dad bought her the first one, she bought the second one :drive:
