BBS vs HRE

I was wondering why everyone always goes with HRE? It seems that most of the race cars use BBS magnesium wheels. Why arent these considered? Too hard to get? Who has a set of these on their car? Any pics?

I have the BBS's. Oh Ya, they came with my car. They are both super wheels. Just a matter of taste I guess.
