Sorry, I should have searched more but I just had **** surgery and It f'n hurts................got to lay down and sleep. What Is the best battery for my 97 GTS? Getting It ready to sell and the battery Is toast. TIA

Many people would say that the Diehard Platinum AGM battery is one of the best, and I would agree. However, I think that it is overkill in dollars and design for a street driven car. You don't need an AGM battery, and they do have some specialized needs. I put my money in Duralast Gold Batteries. They have a pretty good reputation.

The best battery that fits properly is the Diehard Gold AGM. The platinum version does not fit properly.
