Wow, that's quite the list, and I agree with most of it. Especially best color: BLACK!
Best Viper Tech: Chuck Tator, yep! Best Viper Driver/Instructor: ACRSTEVE!!!
(Is that Steve Katz?) Best mod for us was the Corsa Track Exhaust. This will get people thinking for sure!! Depends on what area they are in. GREAT list!!!! ~juli

Maybe you should consider regionalizing your list as this sounds pretty "Eastern". No offense but it's a bit of a drive to Doug or Chuck from So Cal.

We do have a few tracks out here that the Viper does well at. Willow Springs comes to mind. Very fast.

Black is the best color by far and Motons work very well.

Not so sure on the headers. The B & B stepped headers made more power on my 2004 than the Belangers do on my 2006 but I suspect there are some other factors at work in this scenario, so the jury is still out.

Agree with the above highlighted items!~! (As we figured, it depends on what area you are in for Viper Techs/tracks, etc.)
ANDREW: Trust us, blackmamba1's wife IS gorgeous--we've met them!~! You'd agree.

Just the fact that you say she's gorgeous is good enough for me.;)

I only speak the truth :D ~~Mike can verify. Hey, if a woman is gorgeous, being a woman myself, I have NO problems acknowledging that at all. That's how I talk about other women~~only positives, never negatives...what purpose would that prove? :dunno:
BELIEVE me, blackmamba1's wife is gorgeous with personality to boot!~! :headbang: ~juli

[/quote]I gotta admit the Gen 2 GTS is an extremely gorgeous sports car. I have not seen a Gen 3 coupe in person yet, but I am actually thinking about getting a Gen 2 GTS for my wife (so I can sneak it out and drive it!).
And yes, Tom Sessions is very good, he solved my problem this spring when my Viper would not start. He sent me a pic pointing to which fuse to replace, and that cured my problem!

We also love the GTS body style...it's THE epitome of Vipers, we believe. And, with having had the vert for awhile, we'd prefer a coupe next time around....BLACK of course!

Crystal and I feel the same about you guys, even though my beloved Viper is not in commission right now we should get together...but if I see your Viper I might start having withdrawals:(. You guys have a station-wagon or something like that to drive?:)

You need to see a Gen 3 coupe in person , I think you will be amazed . Pictures don't do the car just in most cases . It looks a lot more stunning in person . When I saw the first pictures of the Gen 3 coupe I thought no way I will have one of those over my Gen 2 GTS , but then I seen it one in person and my opinion changed .

I think this Best of the Best list can really help especially the new people. Yes, my list has an east coast flavor to it, so that means you west coast guys need to speak up and rep your area!
I picked Doug Levin as one of the best Tuners and techs, he has answered the phone and acutally TALKS TO ME every single time I have called him! Try that at some of these other tuenr shops, you will be lucky to get any kind of response at all.
I cannot even begin to mention all the things Chuck Tator has helped me with, Chuck is fantastic. This guy is from a different era, they dont make em like Chuck anymore!

Anyone ever tracked w/ trainer Steve Katz? This guy is so patient, I mean, if I could fly around a track at 140 mph I dont know if I would want to be taking baby steps w/ the newbies at 80-90 mph for hours, yet this guy and his crew did just that up at Limerock.

If you have any other ideas and recommendations please post them, it will help us all be better drivers, and save thousands of dollars by making sure we go to the right people for mods and other Viper issues.

Explaining Viper things to you
Best color is always red, because red cars are the fastest. Cars with stripes even faster.

And hey, I always thought I was the best car model, short of Chad's ******* girls.

What a minute:omg: I sent you the pics showing the fuse:mad: :rolaugh:

But Tom told ME about it:2tu:

I met Tom after only owning my GTS for a few days. Got his name though woodhouse and he worked on my car for three days repairing what I just paid a tuner do. Taking the Viper the long way back to FL with my wife, Tom helped salvage own vacation by loaning us his own personal vehicle to use while he worked on our. How's that for Viper service?:headbang:

If I had the gagrage space I'd own a GTS still.:usa:

I agree the Gen III coupe looks great and It'll be my next Viper, but the GTS has those smooth voluptuous curves. I’d actually look forward to washing it. Seriously, and you know owning the steel gray how the blue and silver hughs show off ever curve. I don’t think there is a bad view point of the GTS. Of course we move on.

No argument--we also love the GTS style, so agree with Andrew there. Agreed--Chuck Tator is one of a kind!! ACRSteve--totally AMAZING driver on the track--from personal experience...how a track experience can be so SMOOTH is beyond me!~! One of the highlights of my life for sure, thank you, Steve...so totally agree with you BlackMamba1 on most of your list...personally have not spoken to Doug Levin, though I've seen some pretty awesome posts about him (he's one of the very few I have NOT spoken to...will have to remedy THAT someday!)
Great list!!!! ~juli

Well, that'll do it!!! :D There's a twin turbo owned by one of our local dealers that I've spoken with a couple times, as he's thought of selling it (he had it done in Chicago, all fully braided lines, $20,000 wheels/tires)...it's silver (he as well as us are not fond of that color--SORRY PLUM!~!!!)....he said when he's ready to stop 'playing' he'll consider selling it to us--he knows we are THE fanatics around this area!!!! So, we KNOW what you are saying!!!! :2tu: ~juli

I had my car towed before I got a hold of Tom and the 20cent fuse trick. :smirk:

I could go for a white with blue strips my ownself:D
