BFG's or Kumho's ?? Who has experience with both?

BFG\'s or Kumho\'s ?? Who has experience with both?

Its almost time for me to go home on leave here in 7 weeks and that means time to buy new tires. At least the rear ones, i've been running BFG drag radials and they HOOK AWESOME. BUt i HEAR the Kumhos hook good also AND they are better for handling? How much better do the BFG's hook than the Kumhos?

Kumho's hook incredibly... They are EXCELLENT for cornering too. I'd rate them just a step under stock pilots when hitting a corner. ...

The BFG's will certainly be better straight line but for all around driving the Kumho is very good. I have to disagree with Gerald....it is better then the Michelin, it was made for cornering (autocross/road course) and the softer/stickier compound makes it better.

p.s. Get a spare set of rear wheels and keep the BFG's too.

I did exactly what Tony suggested. I have the stock 17's all the way around with the Kumhos on the rear. I also have a spare set of 18's for the back with the BFG Drag radials on them for the track.

Kumhos are MUCH better than BFGs for the road.

Straight line and they corner much better than Pilots. Come on, Gerald! Don't take too many corners!

Never drive the BFG's in the rain ....if you hit standing water, you will not be driving a straight line after.

Kumho's are great daily driver tires.

I experience the opposite. When I put my Kumho's on I experience a little more "roll" around a corner than I do with the pilots. I find the walls a little stiffer with the pilots vs the kumho's. Not by much but a definate difference.....
But the difference to me is no big deal. The traction is incredible!!

I just thought.. Perhaps my air pressure on my Kumho's is too low. I ride around with about 22 lbs of air. What do you Kumho owners inflate your tires to on the street ?????

What about the New Nittos Drag radials? They make them in 335-30-18.

I run 31-32 hot street, 39-40 hot track.

Haven't tried the other tires, but Kumhos rock!

Watch out in the rain though... not much there in terms of grooving.
