I got my first Viper 6 weeks ago. I wanted to get it before I got married. I am getting married this August….

Ok…..I let it go when my girlfriend first saw my Viper and her reaction??….. “It’s soooo cute!”

I even let it slide when she tried to get in my car with a coffee (well….not really…I was able to tackle her in the parking lot before entry….)

I looked the other way when she bought a purse to match the color of the car. (Well….not really….later that evening I stole it and did a burn out on it!)

But today……..ugh…….today……she did the unforgivable…….I took her for a spirited drive…….and she………she……..(sigh…head hung in defeat)…………SHE FELL ASLEEP IN THE VIPER!!!

Well…..the wedding is obviously off…………the issue now is one of punishment?

What is the penalty for falling asleep in a Viper???

LOL, I experienced the same thing once, but that was on a long drive so I let it slide.

I'd say the issue isn't her.. It's you! Stop driving like a granny!

Oh.. and by the way.. The two guys who i know who had their Vipers before they got married.. both told me about how their toy funds dried up once they tied the knot.. No money for new tires or anything.. Sobering enough news to keep me away from the church for the past 5 years!

I went to FL with a friend and he fell asleep in the Viper numerous times. I figured it was because we were getting maybe 3 hours of sleep a night. He told me on the trip that his parents used to have a V10 Mercedes and as a baby, they'd ride him around to get him to fall asleep. So, now whenever he gets in a V10, he falls asleep lol

Maybe you should have just said that you kept her up ALL night.:2tu:

She may need the rest after that and nothing better to fall asleep in your car while your cruising with both loves.:drive:

The vibrations and noise are great for the passenger on road trips--very easy to fall asleep. I'd say it's a good thing!

Okay, I just looked back and saw that you took her on a "spirited" drive. Falling asleep while cruising on the interstate is one thing. But lacking the excitement to stay awake during a spirited drive? Ouch.

My wife enjoys the power--she has actually drag raced and autocrossed the Viper. These girls do exist!
