Scott what upgrades do you have in mind?

Canyon707,
I am upgrading the following:
Transmission:
Level V1 TR-6060 (same as 08 and up current Vipers) to 2.66 ratios with .80 5th gear
RPS Triple Carbon Clutch (1200 ft/lb capable)
MGW Shifter Assembly

Drivetrain:
DSS Carbon Fiber Drivesaft (255mph capable)
DSS 1400hp CV Axles

Differential:
Differential assembly with Micropolished gears, Quaife (fully micropolished) and new bearings and seals, billet yoke.

Wheels and Tires:
downsized from 20" to 19" HRE 542r and Nitto Nt05

Supercharger:
Upgraded to new Paxton Novi 2500

I have other mods that will take place soon since I'm considering doing the Texas Mile.
The team at RPM Transmissions currently has my car and they have been instrumental in making this all happen! Special thanks to TJ and Rodney! These guys ROCK!

ZDigital1, will you be changing the rear gear ratio for the Texas Mile? I am guessing you will run out of that 0.8 5th gear with that much power and on the stock 3.07 rear. Just curious, I will probably be spectating at the Texas Mile in October and running again next March.

Sorry for the thread hijack Canyon

It's an 03. I only have an intake at this point but will probably add a full exhaust and dyno tune later this year. I probably will never be above 500rwhp. I mainly use the car for weekend driving and track days.

Judging by my experience and the experiences of others on this forum, it seems like the halfshafts are only a problem during the 1-2 upshift under hard acceleration. My shaft didn't actually break. The joint at the wheel broke somewhere and the bearings came out.

I think I just need another stock shaft and a little softer touch going from 1-2. Any good ideas on where to find a good deal on a stock shaft?

Is this possible?

Greetings 345s-bspinnin,
I plan on leaving the stock 307 gear in place. The supercharger sure makes first gear wind out awfully fast! My intentions were to make that 60MPH mark in first without having to shift prior to hitting it.
According to the gear ratio and tire spec excel sheet provided by RPM, I will be around 201 MPH at 6100 RPM in 5th gear. (see below)

Based at 6100 RPM
1st= 60.4
2nd= 90.3
3rd= 123.7
4th= 160.8
5th= 201.0

If everything goes as planned, I am going to attempt the October run. I have quite a few regulation requirements that I have to meet first. Such as roll bar system, upgrade harness system to mention a few.
Hope to be there!
Scott
