HAHAHA LOL @ Gerald.

If your PVC valve does not seal off correctly you will pressure up your crank case and will eventually end up with oil leaks everywhere. Most of the time you can see your oil pressure go up with the boost. That ball in seat plastic PVC valve cannot hold any psi.

I am not familiar with the PVC valve that you have on your car, but i doubt that it will hold.

He doesn't have to check for belt slippage, he needs to tighten it! Unless he has a hose off one of his tubes, it's slipping. I also don't know many people getting those high boost #'s running an 8 rib belt. Who are they?

Yah. Mine slips on a BIGGER 10-rib pulley. If it isn't really, really, really right, then forget it. But the only _real_ way to know is to get on a dyno (or use a vid camera) and run up the boost. All the way. Like to 6100 rpm. On the dyno, it will record it and you can tell where the slipping occurs. On mine, it used to slip at 4500rpm and the boost graph (which should be linear) would flatline at 10lbs of boost. that's leaving 1/3 of the boost on the table!

Have you checked the belt yet! even when you think it is tight it is not tight enough! you must tighten several times to get it right! even a 8 rib belt!
