Man I really like the metal lathe I bought today. I was able
to make my own parts for my custom Supercharger system.
Parts came out looking professional!

Why are a few parts tiltled to the right.. ? looks like the X axis ways dont' line up with the gang or turret, or the ways on the turret also.. Or perhaps you the draw tube in the spindle bore isn't agreeing with the feedrate or rapid rate once machined.. This isn't a Chinese or Taiwanese special lathe is it?

Could be the tailstock as a bad hoksny or is off-center with the 3-way mandrel. Difficult to say.

...or it could be user error.

You guys are a bunch off numb nuts. The pieces are on a foam pad thus the reason why it looks lop-sided. My cuts are true and square.

I bought a small table top system from Central something at habor frieght tools. It actually works pretty well. Yes I am sure it's a chinese machine...but really don't care...I am not going to spend $1000's of dollars because I don't have a need for a industrial one. This one I bought cost about $450-550...depending one the sale.

Nice little set up, wish I had the space in my garage for something similar. And that lathe looks like great value, guess I dismissed a cheap lathe as not being able to do a quality job, but its working for you.
