Haven't posted on Viper Club for a while. Wanted to share with you my new (At least new to me) 2013 Viper Launch Edition. I drove it from a dealership in Virginia 1,200 miles in about 30 hours. since then I've put a total of over 3,000 miles on my new Viper as you can tell I kinda like the car. ☺️

Super sweet! I love blue with white stripes. I bet the road trip was a blast. I have to ask, isn't that a red with white rolling away on a trailer? Did you drive straight through?

That's my old 1997 GTS, I have been a viper owner for over 11 years. Drove straight through.

That is awesome, congrats!!! How does it compare to your now sold 97 GTS?
There different, but the GEN 5 still has that visceral feel that Stirs my soul like my Gen 2. With the GEN 5 Things like interior, brakes, sound system, build quality and paint are 100 times better. Plus it obviously pulls much, much harder. The handling is much more linear as well.Honestly, the Gen 2 is the best bang for the buck car you can buy. IMO But the GEN 5 is obviously a much better car.

One thing missing is the lump of the 708 cam, wonder if it is possible on a gen V?

Love the car! One thing my OCD finds very satisfying is the 75 of 150 plate :)

Would sacrifice any "low speed driveability" issues for that lope any day baby. Also love the sound of 3 inch straight pipes with no cats and the smell of burnt fuel.

What I don't get is why it had to be moved to a place where only registered viewers can see, and its not even in the correct section.

Congrats. How much did the Gts leave for?

I sold my 97 GTS with 89,900 miles for $25k which was way low. I wanted to get rid of it quick but it sold in less than 16 hours. (And I had the Deposit) I probably could have sold it for $28,000 maybe even $30,000 if I would have sat on it a while.

Post #29 got it moved to off topic. There were a few prior to that that put it on edge. Once sent to off topic, nothing brings it back to its origins.

Anytime a thread becomes too enjoyable, it's quickly moved to a private locale....to be savored by select individuals.
