A fellow Viper bud has a pressurized (not vacuum) bleeder system and can't find the recommended operating psi info. Kind of important for pressure system I would think.

Does anyone have a pressure brake bleed system psi recommendation?

While we'er on the subject, any preferences as to which one works better (vacuum, pressure)?
Compared to the old fashioned 3 person way (one pumping the brakes, one bleeding, and one adding)any better way of the 3, number of helpers not an issue?
Thanks

Vacuum is the easiest and cleanest way IMHO. Don't have to worry about getting a good seal on the pressure cap like on the pressure style bleeders. The advantage of the pressure style bleeders is that you fill up the pressure tank with enough fluid to complete the job and don't worry about keeping an eye on the reservoir.

The adaptor fitting for the pressure bleed system is a Viper part designated in the service manual and can be purchased from your Dodge dealer. He can get you the pressure tank also.

Pressure bleeding is what is recommended by the shop manual and is more convinent as you do not have to keep going back to refill the master cylinder. I have an Motive Brake Bleeder which works great. The adapter Frank mentions would make it even easier.

I know we're talking brakes, but can you do the clutch too?
If you use the pressure method, where is the other end of the line for evacuation, or is a vacuum needed for this?

Will the Mopar pressure adapter work with the "Motive Products" pressure bleeder?

Got a p/n for that Mopar adapter?

Thanks

You have to call Miller Tools direct for the Mopar part. They are listed in the last pages of your service manual but the number ws wrong in my 95 manual. I posted the 800 number and a few pics of how I converted the tool to the Motive bleeder in a previous post. Real easy and quick disconnect.
