200 is a little cheap to me. I would like some decent rotors and pads that put off little brake dust

What ever rotor you decide on, do not get drilled rotors. They will crack, just a matter of time. If you want a low dust pad, I think EBC Reds are low dust and stop good. I also like the Mintex Extreme pad for excellent stopping power. Check your ***.

Went to EBC green pads (don't think they make them now) because I also was tired of wiping my wheels each time I drove it. Got much less dust but gave up about 25% of braking power.

Go Semi Metallic and get very good braking and put up with the dust.

Not to sound like a broken record........but the general consensus from numerous forum searches seems to be:

1. Implement Dave's BBK or Tom's brake
2. Do not use drilled rotors unless you only plan on cruising (and even then not highly recommended)
3. Hawk HPS for street driving with little dust

I myself will most likely move to the Hawks when the current pads have had enough. Still considering to what degree I want to do number 1 as Dave's BBK requires cutting the knuckle since I would like to keep my Viper as close to original parts as possible.

EBC greens don't dust and don't squeak. Unfortunately they don't brake either. But they're good enough for the street if you don't use your Viper for a getaway car.

I wouldn't recommend rotors that have no association with a reputable manufacturer. If you want that "look," EBC does make the slotted and dimpled rotors (not cross-drilled). Personally, I don't think the dimples or slots do anything for actual performance that any of us would perceive.

I have Hawk pads up front.. they make very little dust. the rears are stock pads and it's really annoying. I may have them swapped soon just so i dont have to deal with the dust... i know exactly what you mean.

If all you are concerned about is the brake dust, use ArmorAll Wheel Protectant. I have used this for the past summer and it works great. I put 30 miles on my car a day and the wheels will stay nice for about a month. Just make sure you follow the directions on the spray can. I purchased mine at Advanced Auto.

Going to have to try this before I change pads that are like new.

My current brakes throw a ton of brake dust off.... Can I deal with wiping the rims every drive???? Not really but lucky for me they are starting to squeal so time to replace them. What pads do you have? How is the dust factor?? Anyone use these rotors before http://www.ebay.com/itm/FITS-DODGE-...Dodge|Model:Viper&hash=item43bd7f1693&vxp=mtr or are they junk? I am going to stay stock size....no brembos :-(
While you wait for the $$$ BBK upgrade, put Hawk HPS pads on and enjoy the clean experience. If only Performance Friction had a stock Viper app I'd go for those over the Hawk's.
