The airbox has what I believe are larger intake ports (with BSR stamped on the inside). The airbox had a real Rube Goldberg affair with some lind of aluminized "dryer" hose from that larger "BSR" connection to the throttle bodies, which had blue silicone "adapters" (about an inch of silicone hose) to allow the larger diameter hose to work on the TB side.

What I need is a "flared" "smooth" tube (different size ends.

2-1/2" to fit the outside of the stock throttle body (as per the usual)

2-7/8" to fit the OD of the BSR airbox tube.

(I know I should get the larger throttle bodies to match and then the larger smooth tubes would work like a charm, but I am not ready for that).

Can someone PLEASE help me out or direct me to a vendor that would have such a hose with different size ends??

THANKS!!

Well got the length, like 8 - 8-1/8 depending on that angle thing.
Only problem with those hoses in that link Jerome posted is that they only come in 4" length. SHUCKS!

So...... I can find a used or buy a new airbox lid and go back to "standard" 2-1/2" tube or go with 3" tube and "shim" it at the throttle body like was done before (1" piece of hose on the TB so as to build it up so the 3" tube will fit snug).

Thanks Jerome.

Looks like I have an airbox lid for the bigger throttle bodies but have the stock TBs on the car now.
I went ahead and ordered the 3" hose from that company's link you provided. I would be nice to find that "transition" hose though in the right length.
They suggested using a metal pipe as a spacer, but that didn't look too pretty in my minds eye.

Try using thin wall stainless for the joints. You could go with a short lenght of hose, say 2" for the airbox and the reducer on the throttle body with polished or chrome tubing in the center. They do make kits like this and they look good.
