Just picked up top for my RT/10. Since I've only had the soft top and the front latches are different, can someone post up closeup pics of the front latches? I have no point of comparison and want to clean things up, so it would be helpful to see some other ones.

Thanks very much.:2tu:

The latches on the hard top do differ from the soft top. The hard top latches require an allen wrench which should've come with the hard top.

Thanks for the pictures, Ken. Assume the allen wrench fits in that slot and that is how you turn the "t" piece.:eater:

Tony, don't think the top is coming with the tool, but have read that using an allen wrench is just as good.

I don't know what size the allen wrench is. Heck, a screwdriver works just as well.

Thanks Tony, I must say I am amazed at the level of sophistication that some of the Viper parts have!:crazy2:

If you push down on the top above the latch you can do it with your fingers. I do it all the time. Never needed an allen key.

Okay, thanks for the suggestion, will try when I get the top on the car.

Thanks all!

By the way, looked in the owners manual at the picture of the front latch "tool" and it looks very much like a regular, everyday allen wrench that comes with furniture you put together.:rolaugh:
