So, I pulled it out yesterday and thought it was just some stuff on the backside because it didn't feel like scuffs or anything even when I removed my gloves, I couldn't feel any scratches or scuffs. Unfortunately, glass cleaner didn't clean it up. I was wondering about doing sort of a headlight restoration, but I'm scared that maybe these don't respond in the same way. I used 3 different glass cleaners. Has anyone had any success fixing these or have a fix rather than just buying an entire new speedo? the little spots annoy me to death on my 2005 mamba edition. see pic thanks!

It should be possible. Platic polishing kits exist.

There's an 80's retro arcade near me that uses Novus 3 stage polisher to fix their scratched acrylic pieces on their cabinets. They like it. You should be able to search amazon for "Novus 7136 Plastic Polish Kit". I haven't used this product myself.

I have used "Meguiar's Quik Scratch Eraser". I've had success with that stuff, but only for really fine scratches.

thank you for the insight and reply. the little fine scratches towards the bottom arent an issue. you cant really even see them when its own its those damn spots. For the longest time I thought it was condensation or something back there and it would come right off. wrong

A second vote for Novus here. I've used it on a few different things and it's pretty nice. If I remember correctly it actually breaks down as you use it, so it gets finer and finer so you don't scratch anything up too much. I've also used Platis-X or whatever from I think Meguire's. I don't think I've ever used it on clear stuff though yet. I know I've used the Novus on some motorcycle windshields and stuff like that though.
