Hey Andy,

the car will be painted all at the same time, the painter is prepping the parts as they are fed to him and then he is spraying them all at once so that all the paint is a perfect match. I have to get Nick his front fenders and his hood right away.

Come on guys, this guy got blown up for US. We all own Vipers so there has to some money out there. Add another $1000.

edit:

paypal says I've exceeded my limit. it may take a day or two to confirm a paypal bank account before I can send cash via paypal, but it will be done :)

I've been lucky most of my life. Instead of lots of really hard work things have always kind of fallen into place for me. I realize how lucky I am and try to give something back when I can, and as a wounded vet you really deserve more than you have gotten.

I also think our government SHOULD continuing paying a wounded guys salary for at least the rest of a 4 year enlistment, but that's a whole nother thread :)

Thank you for the words! I could go on for hours about wounded pay lol. But thank you again for the generous donation!

Yep, how close are we Steve and what's our timeline for completion?

Andy,

We are very close for the paint job,

Still need to buy some parts:

front fenders
08 Hood
tail lights,
third brake light
rear bumper foams
rear tail light covers

Small stuff:
a few interior trim pieces,
coupe rear carpets,
Nick would like some newer headlights or I have to refinish the existing ones
passenger side headlight rubber gromet/trim
etc.

Timeline will be dependent on the the painters schedule ( he is doing a $12000 paint job for $4000 ) and on the acquisition of the final parts needed

i also have a great idea for Nick if he so chooses...

it would be such a blessing if we could find a way to fund a small cross country pilgrimage for Nick to drive around the country and talk to the youths in our local club areas about the war and his Viper project. it would really be a cool way to give back and maybe his viper could be painted in some neat way to reflect his Valor.

just a thought. i know i wouldf personally pay to get him down here to talk with my youth group!!!

regards
george
