I am having problems with a customers car at 4600 rpm it shut down like it hits the Rev limiter. This only happens under hard throttle. If you take it easy say 1/4 throttle it will rev out to 6000 no problems. This car has an after market fuel system done by Elite motor sports with a walboro pump in the tank and an AEM pump on the frame rail Green top injectors and a VEC 2. And a PAXTON blower.

It has a new Crank sensor, Cam sensor, tried a new computer, 2 VEC2'S, 2 VEC 2 wiring harnesses

Mike: I just posted a similar problem with my SRT yesterday on the other forum. It feels more electrical than fuel as it shuts off instantly. If I am driving the car I can let out the clutch and it will restart but sitting still and revving the motor it will die completely. I am taking it in to DC Performance later this week and will post the findings. Strange thing is this started up just at the same time my headlights started flickering for the second time.

Mike,
Have you hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to the car while under load? If so, what is the pressure at when it breaks up?

I had the same problem. Solved it with a better ground wire and ignition bypass...didn't route the ignintion signals through the VEC2... (interference with fuel distribution)
As far as I understand is Sean and the Civinco guys working on this bug, it only happens on a few cars.

Fuel pumps can **** a lot of current when pushing max flow at max pressure.. maybe check how the pumps have been wired - if maybe something is cutting them because of too high current, if they are cutting out because of too big a voltage drop.. just a guess..?

It was as Jason Heffner has suspected the Paxton elbow was collapsing under the power of suction. For some reason it didn't do it on a dyno just on the Road. Mind you I believe this to be because the heat from the engine compartment softened the tube. BTW this car is making 890 rwhp and is a rocket.

What besides the paxton kit, new fuel system and the VEC II have you installed to get that amount of rhnp? Are you running dif injectors and fuel rails? What pully?
Thanks
