Center Consol 2003 SRT-10 - Need Help

Has anyone removed the center consol in a SRT-10 before. If so, can you tell me what else needs to be removed to be able to remove and replace one?

Also, is it a tough job to remove and replace the emergency brake handle unit in the consol?

It just lifts up from four clips with your fingers. Remove the shift knob stem, unplug the two window switches and power adaptor. Also, the boot for the shifter removed makes it easier to manipulate the console off the E brake. You do not need to remove the E brake boot.

Your E brake looks fully exposed at this time to work on.

if your talking about the whole center console, it is held down 4 screws in the cigerite compartment. on both passenger side and drives 2 on each side also 1 screw each on side of colsole rear (must pull seats forward to expose) the rest pulls out screws on side-back allow console to be reinstalled. did this for B&M shifter. top section just pops up as stated B/4.
