NEVCA Viper Tech Session

To leverage the technical expertise of our Technical Director, the New
England Region of the VCA has scheduled a VIPER TECH SESSION. The
purpose of this tech session will be to demonstrate some of the basic
maintenance that can be performed by the Viper owner. Specific
demonstrations will include both brake and clutch system bleeding, as
well as cooling system ‘burping’ (We all know our babies need a good
burp every now and then…). There’ll also be the opportunity to have
discussions on anything Viper related, as our Technical Director, Chuck
Tator, is commonly called ‘The Viper Wizard’, and he doesn’t hold that
title for nothing! Chuck will also have his associate Rob available at
this session, so absolutely no Viper specific question should go
unanswered. Here are the details of the event:

What: NEVCA Viper Tech Session
Purpose: Demonstrate general maintenance; provide forum for tech
questions
When: 11:00 - 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 5th, 2004
Where: 92 Monarch Avenue, Goffstown, New Hampshire

** SPECIAL NEVCA OFFER **

Chuck Tator has offered to perform a FREE ‘electronic tune-up’ for each of the attendees. This is normally a $70 procedure involving connecting a diagnostic device up to the Viper’s onboard network, checking for ‘problem codes’, addressing those identified codes, resetting the
computer to more appropriate default values and other high-tech activities that none of us have the capability to perform. This is a FREE offer you won’t want to ignore!

Please respond to [email protected] so that I can have some advance notice of the number of attendees. I’ll send out more info and directions as we get closer to the day of the event. BTW, Goffstown is right across the river from Manchester, New Hampshire. We’ll have food and drink available. Oh, and we’ve got a swimming pool available as
well, so you may want to bring your bathing suit and some suntan lotion.

To have Chuck take a look at my Viper may be worth the 1200 mile trip. He has been invaluable as a resource.

I'm beginning to think that Chuck may be addicted to starter fluid though - as he has suggested it twice now as a cleaner for two different problems. :)

His PFM troubleshooting / fixing technique is a thing of beauty!

Adam, that would be great, come join us! It will be alot of fun, and then I can try out the divice I installed in you Viper the last time your where here. When you start pulling on me, I just push the button on the remote I carry with me and I shut down two of your culinders. Now don't get mad, "racing is cheating, until you get cought"! I've now installed over 300 of them in the past two years. :D
I like to win! :smirk:
