In the past year I've had a fender bender with a florida woman where a scuffed bumper wound up costing me $800 (yeah, she got me) and my pos neon was hit and run and written up as salvage. Even after the repair my insurance was then on shaky ground as the insurance company quoted me that figure. Additionally, location, location, location. If I lived near Paolo, I'd be paying chicken feed! Some companies look for the kill in the initial sale's commission but then not give you the truth to you in writing that they won't raise the price. You have to get the guarantee up front but some unscrupulous agents might say later post sale "Well, you're a liability so we now have to raise your cost etc."
