I agree with Bad GTS.If your trans breaks the dealer/rep could cancel you warrenty(with aftermarket parts) with good cause.With stock times from 11's to 13's,higher performance clutch is minimal concern!

Brandon, Dodge will absolutely NOT cover the clutch wear on the OE or any extended warranty. Nor will any other dealer for that matter...except maybe Hundai or some weird promo warranty gimmik that even covers oils......

The OEM clutch is indeed strong, and a good value at $425 INCLUDING a new pressure plate. But consider that a kevlar hi performance clutch kit includes a stronger/tighter pressure plate @ only $525, I suggest that. The pedal feel is about equal.

You should DEFINITELY consider an Aluminum flywheel now, since no additional labor is required, and the flywheel is $480. The accleration 20-120 gives good seat-of-pants feel, and even improved braking will be the benefit.

Both kits for $979. You will be glad you chose this option!
